How much will it cost?
Agh yes, now for the most important and frequently asked question. How much will it cost for the detail? Well to keep it simple, it depends.
The reason I say that is because there are many different variables to a detail. It depends on the size of the vehicle, condition of the vehicle, what exactly you want cleaned, what steps you want me to take, etc. It is very difficult to give an exact dollar amount before seeing it.
For packages, you will notice that they have "STARTING AT" prices. The "starting at" is the price of a coupe (smallest vehicle) in it's best condition. Light dirt and grime, no dog fur, no stains.
Let's say you have an SUV and are looking for a full detail. You go to book and see that my price says "Starting At $190". This does NOT mean that your SUV will be $190. If you think about size, an SUV is much bigger than a coupe, meaning it would take longer to complete the detail, bringing up the cost of the detail. Now let's say you are just getting back from vacation and your vehicle is filled with sand in every crack, that would bring up the price of the detail. Hopefully that makes things clear about the "Starting At" prices.
What can also bring up the cost of the detail are add-ons. Some add-ons include stain removal, ceramic coating, glass coating, paint correction, clay bar, etc. You may be someone who just wants their car cleaned with no add-ons or maybe you're looking to have the cleanest and shiniest car in town. These all play a role in the prices of the detail.
You may also notice that I offer two different packages. One being basic and the other premium. A basic detail includes going over the vehicle and cleaning everything: carpet, trim, steering wheel, seats, etc. This packages does NOT include stain removal, complete dog fur/ sand removal, trim or paint protection. Some of my products may offer slight protection to the surface but aren't designed to protect. My premium package includes everything from the basic, plus stain removal, complete dog fur and sand removal, clay bar, 6+ month ceramic coating. This is why the premium package costs more than the basic. But, my premium package costs less than if you were to get the basic with all of my add-ons that I include in the premium.
Last but not least, I want to address the deposit system. The reason that is in place is for my own security. Say someone books an appointment for a full premium detail, which costs $310. I have it in my schedule, and I planned time and resources to come out and do their car. However, 3 hours before the appointment that person decides to cancel. I am out $310, that planned on earning, for basically that whole day just because they decided to cancel it. For that reason the deposit is non refundable. That being said, if something comes up like weather or unforeseen circumstances, I will try my best to reschedule to the next available time. If all is well, and I end up doing the job without any issues, the customer only has to pay the remaining sum of money. For example: If the detail is $100 and the deposit is $30, the customer only owes $70.
Detailing can get expensive and my pricing can be slightly higher than others due to convenience. I try to be as open as possible and I want to work with everyone to make sure they're happy with the price of their detail. You work hard for your money and I'm here to help you get the most value out of your detail.
